Hi, I’m Erin.

And I’m a bit obsessed with work. Not in a scary power-suit 80-hour-week kind of way (though I am partial to a shoulder pad). I’m obsessed with how we can make work better. Why? Because when work is good, it makes our lives better. And if we do it well, it makes other people’s lives better too.

But I’m not going to sugar coat it. Work can be, well, hard work. And if you want to change something about your experience there, it’s tricky to know where to start. So, I’m all about focusing on what we can change. To get a better outcome for ourselves, our colleagues, our customers and even our communities.

Handily enough, I have eight courses on Linkedin Learning on these very themes. You can find them here.

How I can help

Coaching

I coach leaders and their teams (as groups or individually). As a coach, I work with you as a catalyst to change. I’ll be there to guide and support you in the background – but the change will be led by you.

Consulting

If you need an extra pair of hands I can get my consulting hat on and join you every step of the way. As a consultant, I can help you with things like:

  • Team Culture and Engagement
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Culture Analysis

A bit of both?

A bit like having your cake and eating it. Get in touch if you’d like to talk through how it could work.

About me

Back in the early 80s, my mum and dad set up a business with a mission to bring flexible working solutions to the masses. Thanks to regular dinner-time chats, the benefits of a flexible workplace were always front of mind. (That, and the relative merits of The Beatles’ back catalogue). So, I grew up with a fascination about what makes work great. And I wanted to know: what is it about some organisations, teams and leaders that just get it right?

So I spent some time hitting the books to understand more…

  • MA Psychology – Trinity College Dublin (2003)
  • MSc Organisational Psychology – City University, London 2008
  • British Psychological Society Level A & B Qualified (2008)
  • Advanced Diploma in Personal, Leadership & Executive Coaching – Kingstown College, Dublin (2020)
  • Chartered Organisational Psychologist – Psychological Society of Ireland

And I set out to work across sector and industry, from start ups to global corporations to see cultures of all types in action.

  • FMCG
  • Financial Services
  • Tech
  • Public Sector
  • Civil Service

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I spent most of my 20s and 30s living in London – where someone once told me I’d cut my teeth. I’m still not sure what that means, but I was certainly lucky to have some brilliant experiences there – finding out what really makes work better. (Spoiler: it’s all about the people).

And now I’m a mum to two boys (9 and 5). On account of their age, I’m holding off on the dinner time work chat. But that just gives us more time for the appreciation of The White Album.
